President of the University of Jeddah congratulates the leadership on the occasion of approving the state’s general budget

The President of the University of Jeddah, Dr. Adnan bin Salem Al-Humaidan, in his name and on behalf of all university employees, extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, - may God protect them - on the occasion of Approval of the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 1445/1446 AH (2024 AD).
He noted the record numbers included in the general budget that reflect the strength and durability of the Saudi economy and its ability to face challenges, which reflects the great position that the Kingdom has reached under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them -, pointing out that the budget numbers reflect the strength of the national economy, And the wisdom of the monetary policies that the Kingdom has followed to develop all sectors, and its endeavor to diversify sources of income.
He drew attention to the fact that the budget numbers reflect the magnitude of spending and the government’s intention to pump more investments and major projects to continue the development process in all sectors, while ensuring justice in distributing the budgets of all government sectors so that they can play their role in the development process with all efficiency and ability, and what the education and health sectors have enjoyed. Evidence of the state’s care, may God protect it, for these two sectors, as they are among the most important sectors that have a direct relationship to the citizen’s well-being, and that his education and health are among the most important priorities.
His Excellency pointed out that the current budget comes at a time when the government is moving to diversify revenues and raise the efficiency of spending, in accordance with the set of regulatory reforms that were announced, and they have had a significant impact in diversifying sources of income, raising performance efficiency and achieving sustainable development, in addition to interest in activating the role of the sector. And move steadily towards achieving the plans and strategies of the vision, asking God Almighty to preserve this country’s leadership, security and stability, and to perpetuate prosperity and well-being.
